Uma vez que já viram practicamente todas as minhas figuras, fiz um pequeno video para mostrar como tomo conta delas.
Desculpem a variação de qualidade de imagem/som. Acontece que, como já expliquei anteriormente, a minha máquina avariou e eu estou a usar a do Mimi. Bem, eu lá estava a filmar com a nova camara dele (em HD - repararam como desapareceram as barras pretas?), quando ele ma veio buscar a casa T_T E la tive de filmar com a anterior. I guess beggars can't be choosers... True story, bro.

Finally, we're about to reveal the secret photoshoot! And we're also going to talk a little more about the Christmas sketches we're going to upload on our Youtube channel throughout the whole month. December starts tomorrow and so do our Christmas projects!

Christmas Calendar - Yes, this is our secret photoshoot... well, at least it WAS a secret. Each one of us took 2 photos with 2 different cosplays, which were adapted to Christmas. Everyday, we're going to publish a new photo right here on the blog, until December 25th - there's a new exclusive and never before seen cosplay Christmas styled for you everyday until Christmas, so be sure to check it out!

A Very Aho Christmas Special - This is the name of our Christmas series. There will be 4 episodes, uploaded every Saturday (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th December) and there will also be a New Year's special, on 30th December: The Bloopers! It's a really funny sketch that tells the story of how 3 heroes (Naruto, Ichigo and Luffy) saved Christmas. Prepare for randomness.

This is the begining of a series of sketches called The Vocaloid Adventures, which tells random yet funny stories starring Miku (Stef) and Kaito (Mimi). The main idea of this series is the communication without words, because when we think about Vocaloid, we think about music and dance. We wanted to do something that the whole world can see and understand without the need to add subtitles - to understand the plot, you just have to watch. The music and the sounds play a very important role as well; sometimes the characters even talk but they don't say actual words.

Secret Christmas Project

If you've read the last post and you're wondering what we're going to upload on December, here's a hint: it's a Christmas special! There will be 4 episodes, uploaded troughout the whole month until Christmas, full of randomness and cosplay. You will understand when you see it.

For now, Krana is still writting them down. This Saturday, he will meet Ari, Stef, Yagi and two non Clã Aho members - Mimi and Omega - and they're going to start filming.

On that day, they're also going to continue that one secret photoshoot we've been talking about a lot lately.

Last Weekend Cosplay - Finally revealed!

As you recall, last weekend some of us met to do a few cosplay projects. We were supposed to film 4 sketches and do a secret photoshoot, but we ended up filming 5! Now we can reveal the names of those sketches as well as the days when we're going to upload them - these dates may still change, they are not certain! Oh, and we can't talk about the secret photoshoot yet :p

Vocaloid Adventures Episode 1: The Megaphone - It's, as the title says, a Vocaloid sketch. This is a little different from everything we've done so far, because it doesn't have any dialogue. There are music and sounds (sometimes, the characters even talk but they don't say actual words) but that's all - they don't comunicate through words. We had this idea because Vocaloid is all about music and also because we wanted to do something with only images, something that the whole world can see and understand without the need to add subtitles (subbing sucks :p). Well, soon we'll see if it worked - this sketch will be uploaded in two weeks, on 26th November. We're going to do more episodes, but they're not conected to this one; each episode tells a different story.

The End of Naruto - Just because Naruto is getting too damn loooonnnggg! This is a practical view of how Naruto could end really quickly and really easily. We're going to upload it on 7th January.

Riku's 1000 Questions - A really funny yet short sketch about Kingdom Hearts. It makes fun of a lot of things in the game. It'll be out on 14th January.

Black Star Gets Dumped - No way! Does that mean the whole world exploded?? :O You have to see this random, funny, nonsense sketch to find out - on 21th January.

Naruto's Memes - Since everyone is doing sketches about memes, we decided to do one with Naruto. "Kage bushin no jutsu! ..... Oh my God! Double Naruto! Double Naruto all the way, oh my god!!" and so on. On 28th January, we'll upload it!

How Not to Be Seen - This is a Naruto sketch, starring Iruka as the sensei who teaches you "How not to be seen". The title may still change and we're probably going to film some more shots too, so we don't yet have a fix date. But it's funny as hell!

Now you have a calendar of our sketches until February. If you're wondering what we're going to upload during December... well that's a secret :p

Sunday Cosplay turned into Weekend Cosplay

The idea for a Sunday Cosplay has developed so much that is now a whole Weekend Cosplay. More people joined, more projects appeared and we are even more excited. Here's a little glimpse of how our weekend is going to be:

Saturday morning, Yagi, Stef and Mimi (you know, that friend of ours who actually isn't a Clã Aho's member but still does a lot of stuff with us because he's awesome and has a camera) are going to meet at Mimi's house to film 2 sketches. On the afternoon, Black Star will join them and they're going outside (let's hope it's not raining....much...) to film another 2 sketches. They're also going to do a secret photoshoot, which we can't talk about just yet. In the end, Yagi will be using 1 cosplay, Stef will be using 3, Mimi 3 and Black Star 2.

Sunday, Yagi, Vanda and Omega (another friend of ours who isn't a Clã Aho's member but who does stuff with us too, because he's awesome and doesn't have anything better to do) are going to meet to do that one secret photoshoot. While they're at it, they're also probably going to film some random sketches if some random ideas come to their minds. Yagi won't be using any cosplay, but Vanda will be using 2 and Omega 1.

That's it for now. We're going to do the best we can filming and cosplaying. Go go Clã Aho! :p

Ichigo vs Naruto - Mistakes

Just some mistakes we found in Ichigo vs Naruto ^^'

Yagi's the one who subbed this. She spent a lot of time in this scene thinking whether she should write "Naruto is going to kill me if I don't fix this" or "Naruto is going to kill me. I have to fix this". As you can see, she ended up writing both. This is what happens to Yagi's brain after 5 hours of subbing.

Yes, it should be Hollow, not Hallow.

Here are the Hallows again. Yagi's not a Bleach fan...

Big Brother Anime 2 will be out this weekend

Finally, after almost a year, we are going to upload the second episode of our Big Brother Anime series!

We speak english in this sketch, because we also did in the first episode, but we're still going to sub it, because our english is a little cheesy (à la "your face, goddamit!"). From here on, we're definitely going to speak portuguese in every sketch, because our accent makes us look like idiots...

As you may remember, Luffy was the one chosen (by you!) to leave the house. Now you can see what the 5 remaining characters did during their second week on Big Brother. It all starts when they find out some terrible has happened to Heartless...

As always, we're going to upload it during the weekend (probably Saturday, but we can't promise anything). Yagi is still working on it, but it's going well so we're confident enough to show you some screenshots. As you can see, it has "randomness" written all over the face:

Since it is such a great sketch and we filmed so many things, the bloopers are obviously a must! The video contains not only mistakes we did, but also footage of how things worked behind the cameras and even some random shit that we ended up filming because the camera was on (this mainly involves Black Star and Ryu, who were always messing around).

Even tough we had so many plans, we had to cancel it on the last minute because Stef and Mimi got sick (it kinda makes you wonder what they've been doing to get both sick at the same time...).

Now we're thinking about filming the next weekend, but it all depends if they get better. Stef says she's ok but Mimi is in really bad shape, while Mimi says he's ok and Stef is the one who's still sick... My guess is that they're both still sick... Anyway, we'll see what we can do. For now, let's just hope they get better soon! ^^

PokéLeague's a Dangerous Place

As you may have noticed, we are trying to upload a new sketch at least once a week. So far, it's working - let's hope we can keep this up!

On the next 2 weeks, we'll upload the 2 sketches we filmed at Anipop. The first one is called "PokéLeague is a Dangerous Place" and it's about the Pokémon game, and the other one is called "Who's That Pokémon?" but it's barely related to Pokémon - it's just a bunch of comic, random events that are happening for some reason that not even we understand; we decided to do it because we felt like making fun of Black Star, that's all. They'll be out on the next 2 weekends, so don't miss them! They're really funny!

Coleccionando o Otaku's Partnership

Last Christmas, Clã Aho proposed to answer all your questions as a Christmas Present and Omega asked if he could joing our Coleccionando o Otaku. We said he couldn't, because only Clã Aho members can do it, but we advised him to start his own series of reviews and so he did.

You probably have already seen his Brutal Game Master 1st episode, because we uploaded it on our Coleccionando o Otaku's channel, as promised on Christmas. But now if you want to keep watching his game reviews, you'll have to visit his channel!

And so this is the beginning of a partership. We advertise him and he advertises us. Because it's always nice to have a friend who supports you!

Clã Aho's Youtube channel is getting really popular!

Yagi and Stef used to say "We will only be cool when we get 100 subscribers and haters!" and since we started this cosplay group, we've been waiting for the day that would happen.

Well, guess what: the day has finally come! YES! WE HAVE 100 SUBCRIBERS AND WE HAVE HATERS!!! WE - ARE - COOL!!!

That's right! We're going to upload a new Kingdom Hearts' sketch this weekend, on our Youtube channel. It's called Roxas' Jobs and it was filmed the same day as Xion's Secret (around July). It was written by Yagi, performed by Yagi, Stef, Vanda and Mimi (ahh Mimi, old friend, old pal...), filmed by Mimi and edited by Yagi.

We speak portuguese, as usual, but it's english subbed so it's ok for everyone to see it! ^^

Two weekends ago, we went to Anipop Kyuu-ti, in Lisbon. Everyone but Lexie was there and we had a lot of fun!

BUT! We also worked a little bit :p We did 3 videos that we'll upload on the next few weeks: there's a video about the con itself, that Krana filmed and edited by himself and that will be uploaded tomorrow; and there are also 2 sketchs that will remain a secret for now.

We'll tell you more about these 2 sketchs soon enough, so keep checking this blog! And don't forget to watch the video we'll upload tomorrow!

Sofy wins Kanpai 2011 cosplay contest!

Last Saturday (24th September), Sofy, Mirian and Nini went to Kanpai 2011, a cosplay con that was held in Coimbra.

Mirian as Bontei (Amatsuki)

Sofy as Toph (Avatar)

Sofy (as Toph from Avatar The Last Airbender) and Mirian (as Bontei from Amatsuki) participated in the cosplay contest. From about 10 cosplayers, Sofy was the chosen one and won the 1st prize - that means she won an artbook made by Kanpai's artists, a set of One Piece's postcards, two action figures (Luka from Vocaloid and Kakashi from Naruto) and a Full MetalAlchemist's pillow.

Unfortunately, we do not have any footage from that moment, but there is a Youtube user who does: Fir3Fl4m3. There are two videos about the contest, click these links to watch them:

They said it was a great con and they had tons of fun! Mirian even said: Kanpai is awesome and more people should participate every year. Because it's a really good event and unlike many others, it's well organized.

Coleccionando o Otaku - New big changes!

Coleccionando o Otaku, our series of reviews that even has its own Youtube channel, was stopped for a while but it's now back in business!

First of all, we'd like to apologize for the long long break. We have now started uploading our reviews again and there are some cool big changes we have to tell you about!

For starters, as you may have seen in Krana's review, we have a new opening! If you saw it, then you must have noticed that more Clã Aho members are joining this series! Right now, Krana's the only one working, but in October we'll get serious - Yagi and Sofy will resume their reviews while Ari and Vanda will upload theirs for the first time! As for Stef, she'll be joining later (maybe November? December?) because she doesn't have the time right now. To help you understand how this'll work, we made a calendar:

This is just a really lame example because not every month goes like this, but i makes it easier to understand what we are going to explain now:

Krana is going to upload a new review every Monday;
Ari is going to upload a new review every second Saturday of each month;
Vanda is going to upload a new review every first and third Friday of each month;

Yagi is going to upload a new review every Sunday;

Sofy is going to upload a new review every first Thursday of each month.

See? Now you got it! xD

Like we said, Krana as already started. But the rest of us will only start in October (it's actually this weekend :p).

Oh, and we will also start english subbing our reviews, so that everyone can see us and understand what we're saying ^^

Ichigo vs Naruto

It's done! It took us the whole afternoon (we started exactly at 2pm and it was almost 8pm when we finished) but the Ichigo vs Naruto sketch was finally filmed! Now it's up to Yagi to edit it. Unfortunately, you'll only see it in a month - mainly because there's some other things we want to upload first but also because editing does take its time. However, since we know you're really really curious and you really really want to see at least a preview, here are some screenshots of today's footage:

The plot of this sketch is really simple: Naruto and Ichigo (Yagi and Omega) were bored, so they started fighting over whose life is easier. In order to find out the answer, they decided to try each others life - Naruto disguised himself as Ichigo and Ichigo disguised himself as Naruto. This is the begining of a funny, random, incredible adventure that is actually our review of the animes, pointing out what's wrong in both of them.

There are a lot of references throughout the sketch, like this Kyuubi (creepy~).

Hahahaha we laughed so hard when we dressed up as Hollows! Yes, this is supposed to be a Hollow! (but it's actually just Mimi in two plastic bags). If you think this is creepy, wait until you see the others!

Besides the Hollows, there were also ninjas! Yes, all the enemies are this random. In this photo, there's Black Star and Ryu against Omega, dressed up as Ichigo dressed up as Naruto.

This is Black Star messing around with a rubber chicken and a stuffed Kon. They're both part of the sketch.

Stef was Sakura and Rukia (in the picture). Yagi, dressed up as Naruto dressed up as Ichigo was running away from her.

This is not part of the sketch. It's really just what it seems: Black Star and Ryu playing computer instead of working.

The sketch is in portuguese, but we'll sub it. We hope you guys like it! ^^

Saturday, we're going to film a sketch! It's called Naruto vs Ichigo! It will be performed by Yagi, Stef and Black Star from Clã Aho and also by Omega, Mimi and Ryu, our friends, at Yagi's. We can't tell you much more, but since you're that curious (we know you are, there's no need to lie :p), here's some of the stuff we're going to use:

Sunday, our Blazblue cosplay group is going to do a photoshoot, in Lisbon. Just because they can... and they're cosplays are way too awesome! It's just one of those things that comes to your mind, like: "Oh my God, we're so awesome!... Let's do a photoshoot!" and then you realize it's a great idea and you don't understand why haven't you though about it before. Anyway, yes - it's a great new group with great new cosplays, so it'll be fun and interesting. There's Ari, Krana and Stef, from Clã Aho, and also our friend Mimi (the one who's all over Stef, remember?) When it's done, we'll publish the photos on our Deviantart!

Yagi, Krana and Stef - our Code Geass cosplayers!

Remember the Code Geass Trailer we started filming a few months ago? Actually, we have yet to finish it because we realized the shots we filmed weren't that good and we want to film everything all over again! The reason we haven't filmed it yet it's only because it's summer and we can't stand to wear such clothes in this weather. However, we plan to do it as soon as automn strikes! We'll also be doing something called Code Geass Time while we're at it. About this one, we can only promise you something: you will LOL

This was just a small preview of what's to come this winter, just to make it clear we haven't forgotten our Code Geass Trailer! :p

Preview

This weekend, we'll publish a new sketch on our Youtube channel - it's called Xion's Secret and it makes fun of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days! If you've played the game, you'll easily understand it!

We filmed it in July - woo, it's been a while! - but you will only see it this Saturday because, like everything else we do, it took 3 months for us to feel like editing a fucking 30 seconds vid!

It was written by Stef, performed by Stef and Yagi and filmed by Mimi (that guy who says he's our friend but actually just wants to be all over Stef - remember him?). We speak portuguese but it's english subbed, so it's cool for both our portuguese fans and everyone else out there who wants to see it.

A preview of our new intro.

As you already know, we have a new slogan (if you don't, click here) and now we also have a new intro for our videos. This intro is just a short scene we'll be placing in every video, before it actually begins, so that everyone knows it's a Clã Aho's - there's a crow screaming "AHO!", there's our logo, there's our slogan and...no, that's all. It was made by Yagi and Krana and it's really nothing special but adds a whole je ne sais quoi to our videos.

Well, this was just some a small preview anyway, because before we start using it, we want to do a "promo". If everything goes well (we never know when someone else may decide to break a bone or start sewing a new cosplay out of nowhere), this Friday we'll publish the promo. Black Star and Yagi have some ideas, so they're meeting with Stef (and our non-member-but-still-friend-who-keeps-helping-us-for-no-reason-except-because-he-wants-to-do-Stef-but-let's-not-go-that-way-cause-he's-really-cool-and-he's-really-helping-us Mimi, the camera guy) and they'll film this whole "promo" business. If everything goes well (like we said: we never know!), Yagi will edit and publish it on Youtube by Friday's night (and on our Facebook and blog).
